January 27, 2017: Yesterday was the funeral of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church leader Bishop Eddie L. Long.

Hundreds of members and followers of Bishop Long’s gathered to say farewell to their spiritual leader.
The funeral, which was lauded as a “celebration” of Long’s life lasted nearly six hours, with Long’s family, clergy, former Gov. Roy Barnes, Deion Sanders and others delivering tributes.
