BREAKING NEWS: MediaTakeOut.com’s Statement On The Passing Of WorldStar Founder Lee “Q” O’Denat!!

January 25, 2017: Today we learned that WorldStarHipHop founder Lee “Q” O’Denat passed in his sleep. Our condolences to his family and loved ones. I’ve known Q for the past 10 years. We first met when WorldStar and MediaTakeOut.com were just starting out. We quickly became friends and eventually partnered on a few ventures.
As our companies grew, we remained friends and spoke frequently, often giving each other business advice. I can honestly say that Q had one of the most innovative business minds, and was one of the most important African Americans in the field of technology.
But he wasn’t just a great business mind. Q was also a hard-working and generous family man. He was committed to his family, his company and his community – whether it was giving lectures on business or hosting charity events.
The world will miss Lee O’Denat, and so will I. Rest in peace Q.
