January 26, 2017: A Texas teacher who is facing sexual assault charges – now claims that her “victim” was extorting her for money.
Police say 30-year-old Sandy Doan had a sexual relationship with the student, a 14-year-old boy.
But according to Sandy, she was the victim – of an elaborate extortion scheme – brought out by the teenager.
Police say that Sandy and the teen had sex at least three times since July of 2015.
The arrest affidavit states the teen then began EXTORTING his teacher. The boy sent a text message in January of 2016 demanding money: “Ain’t b’sing watch ima start getting the pics and everything ready to show the cops. Right i ain’t playing.”
Police say the teacher paid the teen, over a period of months, about $28,000. The family says the boy would use the money for alcohol and drugs.
