February 9, 2017: Alberto “Alpo” Martinez, who also went by the name RICO, was an infamous Harlem drug lord/hitman. He was made famous by the rapper CAM’RON who played him in the hit movie, Paid In Full.

The police finally caught up with Alpo – and he was arrested charged with conspiracy to commit murder, various drug charges and 14 counts of murder, including the murder of D.C. drug dealer Michael Fray and Brooklyn drug dealer Demenico Benson. Facing the possibility of either the death penalty or life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, Martinez turned informant and testified against members of his organization.

He was released from prison last year – and went into the witness protection program.
